Celebrating Tina Sloan Green and the Black Women in Sport Foundation Honors

The Blockson Collection is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Black Women in Sport Foundation (BWSF) Collection, donated by Tina Sloan Green, and host the BWSF Honors. The BWSF Honors recognizes exceptional individuals who help further the organization's mission to increase the involvement of black women and girls in all aspects of sport. The honorees are pillars in their community, role models, and valiant advocates for black women and girls.

Established in 2019, BWSF Honors has already recognized a half dozen outstanding individuals who exemplify the values of the Foundation and reaffirm our longstanding commitment to growth and access in the Philadelphia community and beyond.

The 2020 theme is Past, Present, & Future, which will take a retrospective look at the work and impact of the Foundation, while also hinting towards our bright future.

This program will be presented via Zoom. On the day of the program, use this link to join:  https://temple.zoom.us/j/96527557392
