Intermediate REDCap

Intermediate REDCap

This hands-on workshop on using REDCap, a tool for capturing electronic research data, will cover skills for both beginners and those with more experience. Will Dean, Research and Data Services Librarian at the Ginsburg Health Sciences Library, will show you how to set up data collection instruments, send out surveys at specific times, and create longitudinal research study events. While REDCap can be used to collect virtually any type of data (including HIPAA-compliant environments), it is specifically geared to support online or offline data capture for clinical research studies and operations.

It is recommended that you register for this workshop ahead of time so a REDCap account can be created for you, if you do not already have one. More information: https://cphapps.temple.edu/redcap/

Bring your laptop or borrow one from an available laptop kiosk.

Please contact Will Dean, william.dean@temple.edu, with any questions or to RSVP for a group of 15 or more.
