A Tab to Accessibility for Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint

This workshop will go over how to use a customized OER ribbon tab, on a Windows or MAC version of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint, to bring together the commands and functions for creating and checking accessible contents. The tab is named OER to encourage the use and creation of Open Educational Resources and to distinguish it from the existing Accessibility tab. You will learn how to save, export, install and modify the OER ribbon tab. You will also obtain resources for best practices in creating, checking, and remediating contents so they are accessible to people with different abilities or disabilities.

This workshop will be offered as an online session via Zoom. You must register for this workshop to receive the Zoom link via a confirmation email. On the day of the workshop, use the link to join the session.
