Health Sciences Libraries Poster Art Contest

Share a photo of an interesting sign from the Philadelphia-area for a chance to be displayed in Ginsburg Health Sciences Library!

It's no secret that the city of Philadelphia is a visual feast of art, design and... signs. For this Fall's poster art display call, we're looking for your images of unique local signs (handmade or professional) in the city that make you smile, laugh, grimace or otherwise react in some kind of way! That incomprehensible parking sign? Send it our way. The faded old store sign from decades ago? Give it to us! We will also consider appropriate graffiti and street art. Go out there (or into your camera roll) and capture funny graffiti, murals, random handwritten signs, stray Gritty drawings out in the elements, and any sign that just screams "Philly" (in bold) to you!

The contest opens September 15 and closes September 29. The ten winners will have their photo printed on a large poster and displayed in the library in October. The poster will then be theirs to keep!
