Data Visualization: Excel or Tableau
Data visualization can help you communicate and understand your data better by representing trends and findings in exciting and eye-catching ways. In this hands-on workshop, Research and Data Services Librarian Will Dean will show you how to take a humble dataset and present it in a variety of colorful, informative, and interactive visualizations. We will explore the features of the software programs Tableau (register for a free student or teacher account) and Excel.
This workshop will be offered as an online session via Zoom. You must register for this workshop. You will receive a registration confirmation email, which includes the Zoom link. This workshop will not be recorded, but a copy of the slides will be emailed after the workshop concludes.
Please contact Will Dean, will.dean@temple.edu, with questions.
Workshop is recommended for: Undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, Temple Hospital staff, and community members.
