From 3D Scan to 3D Print

From 3D Scan to 3D Print

Have you ever wanted to alter or copy an object using a 3D printer?

In this workshop, Art M.Ed. student Hanna Greenfield will share a workflow for bringing an object from scan to print, and all of the software involved in-between. We will also discuss use cases, expanded possibilities, and limitations of working with 3D scanners, modeling software, and printers. Hardware and software briefly covered include: DSLR camera, Popscan2, Agisoft Metashape, Meshlab, Bambu Studio, and a Bambu 3D printer.

Bring any questions you have about working with these tools in the makerspace! The goal is to fill in gaps of knowledge and get anyone interested in scan-to-print familiar with what tools they need to learn.
