Introduction to Data Visualization
Do you like data? Do you like good looking graphs? Do you like presenting information in eye-catching ways? If you answered yes to any of those, you might be interested in learning more about data visualization. In this hands-on workshop, Research and Data Services Librarian Will Dean will show you how to take a humble dataset and present it in a variety of colorful, informative, and interactive visualizations using Tableau. Tableau is one of the most widely used data visualization programs available, and can generate graphs, stories, and interactive dashboards. You can download Tableau and create a free student or teacher account.
This workshop will be offered as an online session via Zoom. You must register for this workshop. You will receive a registration confirmation email, which includes the Zoom link. This workshop will not be recorded, but a copy of the slides will be emailed after the workshop concludes.
Please contact Will Dean, will.dean@temple.edu, with any questions.
Workshop is recommended for: Undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, Temple Hospital staff, and community members.
