How to Write and Publish a Case Report

Publishing research is an integral part of a health sciences career. Case reports are “the” original medical literature and a terrific way to start your research and publishing journey. This workshop explains how to write and where to publish a case report. The components and organization of a case report, guidelines and approaches for writing, and how to increase chances of publication will be reviewed. In addition, we will share strategies for finding and choosing a journal for publication while avoiding problematic publishers. Tools and resources to support your writing will be highlighted throughout the workshop.

This workshop will be offered as an online session via Zoom. You must register for this workshop. You will receive a registration confirmation email, which includes the Zoom link. This workshop will not be recorded, but a copy of the slides will be emailed after the workshop concludes.
