Ginsburg Library’s Innovation Space, with a focus on one of the 3D printers.

Introduction to 3D Printing and 3D Modeling Design in Health Sciences

Interested in 3D printing but don't know where to begin? Join us for the where, what, how and why of 3D printing! We will discuss the various methods of 3D printing and how they work. We will also explore resources available to assist you with creating a 3D model and preparing it for printing. We’ll showcase several health sciences projects completed in the Innovation Space, like a 3D-printed ultrasound trainer, a 3D-printed vein finder, and more! Come learn how the services here at Temple Libraries can make your creations come to life.

This workshop will be offered with two options: in person in Ginsburg Library’s Innovation Space or as an online session via Zoom. You must register for this workshop. You will receive a registration confirmation email, which includes the Zoom link. This workshop will not be recorded, but a copy of the slides will be emailed after the workshop concludes.

Please contact Nick Perilli, nick.perilli@temple.edu, with any questions.

Workshop is recommended for: Undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, Temple Hospital staff, and community members (online only).
