Curator Tour: Philadelphia Unfolded

Take a closer look at Philadelphia Unfolded with curators from Temple Libraries’ Special Collections Research Center. Drawn from the Libraries’ archival photograph collections, the exhibition explores Philadelphia through images that capture its neighborhoods, communities, daily life, and changing landscapes.

During this guided tour on December 3rd at 12 PM, curators will share additional context about the photographs on display, the people and histories represented in them, and the role archival visual collections play in preserving stories of identity, memory, migration, and belonging. Visitors are invited to discover new perspectives on Philadelphia’s past and the many communities that continue to shape the city.

The exhibit is located on the first floor of Charles Library and is open Monday through Friday, 8 AM–8 PM; Saturday, 9 AM–5 PM; and Sunday, 12 PM–8 PM, through December 13.
