Managing Your Archival Research Images

Managing Your Archival Research Images

Do you find yourself endlessly scrolling through images you took of archival materials, wondering how to manage them? Do you want to know how to take better pictures of them in the first place? While we're social distancing and can't visit archives or special collections, this is a great time to organize photos taken of research materials as well as find already digitized collections online and set yourself up for better management once institutions reopen. Join us for an online workshop on navigating the research process, reading a finding aid to set up expectations of what photos you need to take, how to take good pictures, how to find existing digitized images, and how to organize those images with metadata and management tools.

This workshop will be held on Zoom. You do not need a video camera or a microphone, but you will need an audio connection to hear the instructor. We encourage you to register for this workshop. On the day of the workshop, join at this url: https://temple.zoom.us/j/91949482836

Please contact Rebecca Lloyd, rebecca.lloyd@temple.edu, with any questions or to register for a group of 15 or more.
