Author Talk: Haki Madhubuti | "Taught By Women"

Join us to continue the conversation with publisher, editor, cultural critic and educator Haki R. Madhubuti. He is a leading poet and a major figure in the Black Arts Movement. Professor Madhubuti has also been a national leader in the development of a strong Black literary tradition. He will pay homage to Black women in his presentation from an extended edition of his latest book,"Taught By Women."

This program is part of the Black Lives Always Mattered! public program series at the Blockson Collection, which is made possible through the support of The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage grant.
