Author Talk: Angela Dodson Remember the Ladies: Celebrating Those Who Fought for Freedom at the Ballot Box

Join us for a conversation with writer, editor, and consultant Angela Dodson. She will discuss her book, Remember the Ladies, and share her process and journey to discover some valued but forgotten women.

Released for the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th amendment, Remember the Ladies is considered one of the best women’s suffrage books and includes unforgettable stories of the courageous leaders who secured women’s right to vote.

This program is part of the Black Lives Always Mattered! public program series at the Blockson Collection, which is made possible through the support of the Pew Center for Arts & Heritage grant.
