Text Mining Databases

Part of Love Data Week 2022, this workshop will introduce researchers to the range of text mining portals increasingly available for conducting data analysis in library databases, including Proquest, LexisNexis, Gale, HathiTrust, JSTOR, and other databases. This workshop will overview the range of resources, limitations on access, and modes of analysis possible through these text mining portals. Workshop attendees will also learn the basics of text mining and how to build research projects around text mining databases.

This workshop will be offered as an online session via Zoom. You must register for this workshop to receive the Zoom link via a confirmation email. On the day of the workshop, use the link to join the session.
