Intro to High Performance Computing

This workshop will introduce the basic ideas and working procedures of a typical HPC, with special focus on how to apply for an account and request resources at Temple’s HPC (Owl's Nest). Interested people can also learn about job management at HPC along with writing simple job scripts. No prior knowledge about Linux commands are necessary, common commands will be introduced as the workshop progresses.

There is the option to attend this workshop in person or online via Zoom. You must register for this workshop to receive the Zoom link via a confirmation email. On the day of the workshop, use the link to join the session.  

This workshop will be recorded. Register to attend the live session or to receive a copy of the recording.
