DESCRIPTION:\n\nFor anyone interested in learning how to analyze media
representation on screen\, this workshop will introduce three video

film and television: ELAN\, Cinemetrics\, and Distant Viewing Lab. Through
demonstrations and guided activities\, attendees will have the opportunity
to explore both qualitative and quantitative approaches to video analysis\,
