SUMMARY:Games and Learning: Rosenstrasse
DESCRIPTION:Join the campus Games Interest group as we play through a
session of the role-playing game Rosenstrasse. This game explores the
erosion of Jewish civil liberties during World War II. It has a strongly
defined historical story weaving the lives of four pairs of men and women
bound by love under the tightening chokehold of Nazi Germany that are
explored by the players. Come and play or observe and see how games and
history can bring about emotional experiences that can help inform our
present.\n\nThis program will be held in Charles Library room 322\, located
in the Loretta C. Duckworth Scholars Studio.\n\n\nContent
Warning:\nRosenstrasse is a game about the Holocaust. It addresses
 antisemitism\, systemic neglect\, persecution\, and genocide. State
 violence\, depression\, suicidal ideation\, sexual harassment and
(non-violent) child endangerment may be encountered in specific scenes.
